The Retreat & The Journey
This retreat is set at Inin Nete, a rustic center owned by indigenous healers under the facilitation of Mee Ok Icaro.
After dieting all over the world with indigenous and Western healers for over a decade, Mee Ok partnered with Shipibo master healers to design a retreat that offers the very best of plant medicine healing.
Its carefully considered guidelines help guests connect more fully with sacred medicine and the pharmacy of the Amazon, while emphasizing preparation, processing, and integration for more impactful ceremonies and post-retreat life transformation.
Life Purpose coaching, trauma-informed integration, somatic healing modalities, and psycho-spiritual tools will be offered to guests as the core foundation of the group and individual facilitation sessions.
At the heart of the retreat is the belief that by working with the mind, body, and spirit, the plants can guide us in shifting our consciousness to heal ourselves and all our relations.

MEET YOUR HOSTS

Francisco & Maricela, Maestros
Maestros Francisco Huayta and Maricela Rios Inuma together have nearly 50 years of experience serving Ayahuasca and working other plant medicines from the Amazon jungle, with a total of 70 plant diets.
Francisco comes from a powerful lineage of healers including his grandfather who was a muraya, the most masterful level of plant medicine workers. A respected elder in his community, he was called to the medicine after a snake bite nearly took his life. It should have killed him instantly, but he survived 8 months – long enough to cure his illness. After this, his reputation grew and members from the community began seeking him out. He carries the immaculate energy of Christ-consciousness that uniquely offers healing to those who have suffered religious trauma.
Maricela’s ancestors also come from the Shipibo lineage as well as the Amazonian mountains. Her healing journey began at the age of 13 when her grandfather gave her huayra caspi to completely cure ails with her menstruation. Since then she has worked with over thirty master plants – her greatest being noya rao, with which she has a profound connection. She brings a powerful grandmother energy that grounds the space with feminine energy and warmth.
With great love and care, Francisco and Maricela help all who desire healing from the plants in the physical, mental, psychological, karmic, energetic, and spiritual forms. Their passion is for others to connect deeply with the plants to gain wisdom and understanding from this ancient tradition so that they may transform their lives.
They are joined by a son and niece who are also powerful indigenous healers in their own right.
